Description
Free WiPay checkout integration for WooCommerce
The Revamped GY WiPay WooCommerce plugin provides a practical checkout connection for WordPress stores that have the WiPay merchant access required for the intended environment. The current public release is version 1.2.0 and the product price is GYD 0.
Customers select WiPay during checkout and continue through the provider’s hosted payment flow. The store retains the WooCommerce order and uses the returned or verified transaction information to update its state. The merchant remains responsible for its WiPay account, provider agreement, customer policies and financial reconciliation.
What the plugin is intended to provide
- A WiPay payment option for WooCommerce checkout
- Configuration for the merchant environment and credentials
- Hosted payment redirection and customer return handling
- WooCommerce order status updates based on the integration response
- Advanced settings for supported store and currency requirements
- Compatibility work for the agreed WooCommerce checkout during implementation
Requirements
The site needs WordPress, WooCommerce, HTTPS and valid WiPay merchant information. The exact account, currency, callback and production requirements are controlled by WiPay and can change. Revamped GY confirms the supplied requirements during setup but cannot create or approve a merchant account on WiPay’s behalf.
Credentials should be stored only in the protected plugin settings and must not be included in page content, screenshots, analytics, support bundles or public source code. Administrative access should be limited to the people responsible for checkout and store operation.
Setup and verification
- Back up the WooCommerce site and record the current checkout and payment configuration.
- Confirm the merchant environment, website URL, currency and callback or return requirements.
- Install the current package and enter the supplied settings through the protected administration screen.
- Test checkout without using a live financial transaction unless the merchant has explicitly approved it.
- Confirm the amount, provider reference, WooCommerce order state, customer return and any notification expected by the scope.
- Exclude cart, checkout, account and provider callback routes from every page cache.
Updates and support
WooCommerce, WordPress, PHP and checkout components change over time. Back up the site before updating and repeat the agreed checkout tests after a relevant change. A successful plugin activation does not prove that a full payment and recovery workflow is working.
The plugin is currently offered without a product charge. That statement does not include merchant fees, provider charges, custom development, store repair or an ongoing care plan. The proposal or support agreement identifies work that is included for a specific store.
Read the WiPay WooCommerce guide for release information and practical setup context. You can also contact Revamped GY with the WordPress, WooCommerce and PHP versions used by your store. Do not send live credentials through the public form.
