How quickly does a .gy domain go live?
A domain paid by card or MMG goes to the registry straight away and is usually active within a minute. With bank transfer, cheque, cash or crypto, we register it as soon as the payment is confirmed.
How much does a .gy domain cost through Revamped GY?
Every extension costs GYD $7,000 a year, and renewals cost the same. Domains already registered with us at GYD $6,500 keep renewing at GYD $6,500 a year for as long as they stay with us. Premium names are one- and two-character names, such as a.gy or 7g.gy, and any name the registry marks as premium. They cost GYD $130,000 a year on top of the normal price. The total is shown before you pay, and our team approves each premium order before it is registered.
Which .gy extensions can I register?
Revamped GY supports open registration for .gy, .co.gy, .com.gy, .net.gy, .org.gy and .edu.gy through one search and checkout interface.
Can I register a domain for more than one year?
Yes. Choose from one to ten years at checkout; the total is shown before you pay. Longer terms cost less: 5% off 2 years and 10% off 3 years or more.
Can my .gy domain renew automatically?
Yes. Eligible services can use card-based automatic renewal. If automatic renewal is disabled or a payment fails, reminders and normal checkout options remain available.
Can I manage nameservers and DNS myself?
Yes. You can change nameservers from My Domains. Managed DNS adds a record editor for A, CNAME, MX, TXT and other supported records, together with automated email DNS publishing where applicable.
Does Revamped GY provide domain security?
New domains receive registrar lock by default. Supported accounts also provide DNSSEC controls, regenerable transfer authorisation codes, two-factor authentication and encrypted credential storage.
Can I transfer an existing .gy domain?
Yes. Enter the domain and its transfer authorisation code on our transfer page. A transfer costs GYD $7,000 and includes one year.
Can I add email or web hosting after registering?
Yes. Email and cPanel hosting plans can be purchased from the dashboard and attached to a domain. Confirmed orders are provisioned automatically and access details are sent to the account holder.
Which payment methods are available?
By card, MMG, bank transfer, cheque, cash, Bitcoin, USDC, USDT or Ethereum, or choose Hold My Order and Contact Me to Pay and we will contact you. Card and MMG payments are confirmed automatically, so the domain goes to the registry straight away. Other methods register it once we confirm the payment.
