Domain Service Policy

Version 2026-10-09 · Effective 9 October 2026

This policy covers domain registration, renewal, transfers and optional managed DNS through Revamped GY. Registry rules for the domain’s extension apply in addition to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

1. Registration and ownership

A domain registration provides a time-limited right to use a name subject to its registry’s rules. Check the exact spelling, extension, registration term and registrant details before submitting an order.

A search result, basket or unpaid order does not reserve a domain. Registration is complete only after the registry accepts it. Premium names and restricted extensions may need additional approval, evidence or a different price. We will identify such requirements before completing the affected request.

An order for an existing domain does not transfer ownership of that domain to the buyer. Ownership changes require the current holder’s authority and the applicable verification process.

2. Registrant details and security

Provide accurate owner and contact information and keep it current. Use a contact address you can still reach if the domain stops working. Respond to genuine verification requests and protect your account with the available security controls.

Do not share transfer codes publicly or send account passwords by email. A privacy service may reduce public disclosure where supported but does not remove the obligation to provide accurate information to the registry or respond to a lawful request.

3. Renewal and expiry

Your account shows the recorded expiry, service term and renewal arrangement. Manual renewal requires payment in time for the registry to process it. Automatic payment operates only under the billing agreement you accept and can fail because of payment or registry restrictions. Monitor expiry even if reminders are enabled.

Renewal, restoration and premium fees may differ. We will show the applicable charge before an optional transaction is authorised. Do not assume that a grace period or a restoration service is available for every extension. After expiry, a domain may stop resolving, enter a recovery stage or become available to another registrant under registry rules.

Turning off automatic renewal stops future automatic collection under that agreement. It does not erase the current registration or itself request an immediate registry deletion.

4. Transfers

A transfer may require an authorisation code, an unlocked domain, accurate contact details and registry approval. Transfer eligibility, time limits and any registration-term extension depend on the relevant registry. A transfer request is not proof that the transfer has completed.

We do not change registrant ownership merely because a transfer order was placed. DNS and website or email hosting are separate from registrar sponsorship and may need separate arrangements.

5. DNS and nameservers

Nameservers identify the systems responsible for a domain’s DNS records. You can choose our managed DNS service or supported external nameservers. You are responsible for supplying the correct external nameservers and ensuring that the receiving DNS service has a working zone.

Before a change, preserve records needed for your website, email and verification services. Resolver caches can delay visibility of a valid change. An update shown in the account is not by itself proof that every resolver has refreshed.

Disconnecting our managed DNS service requests removal of the zone from our DNS account. Removal follows verified handover checks to protect live services and may remain pending while replacement delegation is incomplete. Export any records you need first. A disconnected zone is not a permanent backup.

6. Lawful use and disputes

Do not register or use a domain for phishing, fraud, malware, impersonation or infringement of another party’s rights. Revamped does not determine trademark entitlement through an availability search.

For .gy names, review the Registry.GY policies and agreements, including the registrant agreement, acceptable-use, privacy and deletion rules. Other extensions may have different requirements. Applicable registry dispute procedures and valid court or regulatory directions can affect a registration.

7. Fees, cancellation and support

Our Refund Policy explains the treatment of registration, renewal, transfer and premium fees once a request is submitted or completed. A hosting or email cancellation does not automatically cancel a domain. Contact us promptly about an incorrect request so we can establish whether the registry still permits a correction.

For domain support, contact contact@revamped.gy with the domain, account reference and requested change. Material policy revisions will be dated and communicated to affected customers. This policy does not change current registry deadlines, account ownership or existing paid terms.
