- Generate a replacement if the code is invalid or exposed

Registrar lock protects the domain by blocking transfer requests. Temporarily unlock the domain at the current registrar before submitting the request.

A registrar transfer changes who manages the domain. It should not be confused with a registrant ownership transfer, a new registration or a guaranteed renewal extension.

The remaining registration period stays attached to the domain unless a separate renewal or term extension is offered and completed. Check the updated registry data after transfer.
