Email Service & Acceptable Use Policy

Version 2026-10-09 · Effective 9 October 2026

This policy applies to email hosting and mailbox setup supplied by Revamped GY, including complimentary accounts. It supplements our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. Your order and account dashboard state your storage, mailbox allowance, price and renewal arrangements.

1. Ordinary correspondence and permission

Use your mailboxes for lawful personal, staff and business correspondence. You are responsible for activity by everyone using your account, including connected websites, forms and applications.

Unsolicited advertising and cold outreach are prohibited, including individually addressed promotional messages to people who have not agreed to receive them. Do not buy, borrow, scrape or harvest recipient lists. A publicly listed email address does not establish permission. Do not use an externally sent spam campaign to promote a website hosted through us or use one of our mailboxes as its return address.

Existing customer enquiries, requested quotations and expected transactional messages must relate to the recipient’s request or relationship with your organisation. A sending allowance is not permission to send unwanted messages.

2. Mailing lists and sending limits

Contact contact@revamped.gy before starting a mailing list or marketing campaign. Use consent records, accurate sender details and a working unsubscribe process. Observe applicable marketing laws and the CAN-SPAM requirements relevant to the service. Stop sending to recipients who withdraw permission.

Maximum limits for the shared email service
Measure Limit
Messages per domain 300 per hour, 3,000 per day and 10,000 per week
Recipients at a time 25
Mailing-list membership 1,500
Mailing-list pacing At least six seconds between messages
POP/IMAP connections 60 per hour
SMTP connections per server account 500 per hour

Do not split lists or rotate accounts to evade limits. Larger lists need an approved service with suitable dedicated capacity. Use the configured mail server rather than scripts that deliver directly to recipients’ servers. Security controls may impose lower temporary limits or reject a message. Storage capacity does not increase these sending allowances.

3. Abuse and account security

Spam, phishing, impersonation, fraud, malware, harassment and unlawful material are prohibited. Keep passwords private, use strong unique credentials and secure each connected device. Protect website forms against automated misuse and keep connected software updated. Tell us promptly if you suspect compromise or see unexpected sending.

Do not bypass filtering, authentication checks or a sending restriction. We may request evidence of recipient permission and relevant application logs when investigating a complaint. Provide only the information needed for the investigation and never send passwords by email or WhatsApp.

4. Restrictions and restoration

We may restrict sending or suspend an affected service to contain credible abuse, compromise or a risk to other users. Urgent protection can take effect before notice. Where practical, we explain the issue and the corrective work required. Deliberate spam, serious active abuse or a mandatory infrastructure restriction may require immediate termination without a prior remedy period. This is an exception to the ordinary ten-day material-breach remedy in section 26 of our Terms of Service. Other remediable breaches remain subject to that ordinary process.

Restoration depends on resolving the cause and any outstanding infrastructure restriction. Creating another mailbox, changing a sender address or moving servers does not remove the requirement to resolve abuse. We do not promise that a blocked sender will be reinstated.

Deliberate spam can incur documented investigation and cleanup costs at US$90 per hour. We will provide an itemised explanation before requesting payment. Accepting this policy does not authorise an automatic charge for those costs.

5. Delivery, storage and recovery

Message acceptance by a sending server is not proof of delivery to the recipient’s inbox. Delivery also depends on the recipient’s filters, sender reputation, DNS authentication and message content. No inbox-placement or uninterrupted-service guarantee is included.

Manage storage within your plan and retain independent copies of important messages. Shared storage covers the account’s mailboxes together. Backups are a recovery aid, not a permanent archive. Before deleting an account, cancelling service or removing a mail app, preserve any required server and device-only data. Ask us about export assistance before closure. Recovery after deletion cannot be assumed.

6. Privacy and support access

Mail systems process message content to route, store, filter and deliver email. Authorised support access may be needed to investigate faults or abuse. We limit that work to the service issue and handle personal information under our Privacy Policy. Email hosting does not make messages technically inaccessible to all administrators.

7. Acceptance and policy changes

New email purchases require an explicit checkout acceptance. We record the policy version, document fingerprint, order, customer account where available and acceptance time. An email announcing a policy is not recorded as a customer’s checkout acceptance.

We identify revisions by version and date and notify affected customers of material changes through their account contact details. Immediate protective restrictions may be necessary for active abuse. Existing agreed prices, paid service periods and complimentary arrangements remain governed by the customer’s order and our Terms of Service.

For questions, an abuse report or help with a restriction, contact contact@revamped.gy. Include the affected address, approximate time and error message. Do not include a password or unrelated private correspondence.
